Does anyone collect the variations of the Mane 6?

I recently got another G4 Fluttershy, this time apparently she's the Easter release with a few flowers on her foreleg. I don't really know what else to do with her, so I was thinking I'm going to just customize her, but I don't know, do people collect the different releases? I'm pretty sick of them, but that's just me.

Not, like, all of them, but I'll confess to having quite a few different Fluttershys because her colors tend to work so well. Rarity too, but more Fluttershy I think. The Easter release isn't really all that distinct from the regular version, though.

I was, but I'm getting more selective now - either it has to be a really neat new feature, or I just get the unique characters.

Yeah, see, I'd expect some people collect the ones with distinct, different features, but this one's differences seem pretty minor, and I have no idea how appealing or not that kind of variation is to others.

I don't really go out of my way to have all of them, but if I can find them for cheap or get a new variant in a lot, I'll keep them.  The only exception to this would be Pinkie, since I have so many of them, so I might as well go all the way.

Yes, my partner collects any variation of the mane six that is more than just a slight eye shape change. Tinsel hair, glitter cutie mark, Easter fluttershy anything that is enough of a variation you can see with out having to get really close (which is a pretty loose line...shes got a LOT of doubles...)
I think shes crazy for doing so...but I cant deny they look good displayed all together and its really cool to see such an army of G4s.

I only do if it's unique enough or a design change I like. Like I have the regular sized twilight both unicorn and alicorn and I still need to get a princess size one. I also wanted to get the black and white pinkie. There's also a few of the equestria girls exclusive ponies I wanted to get because I liked the designs. I prefer collecting re-releases of non-mane 6 though.

I don't collect variants anymore but I know there are people out there that have armies of 1 or more of the mane 6. Easter Fluttershy is one of the older and seemingly not quite as common variants. I wouldn't customize her if it were me.

Then you have people who might want her simply because she is a holiday pony. Especially since there isn't much for G4 holiday ponies. I think we just got Valentines Pinkie, Easter Fluttershy, and some Santa hat mini plush.

No, I only want one of each character. I will admit that some of the variations are super pretty, though! I think the only one I'd be tempted to buy right now would be the Water Cuties. If I saw the main 6 versions of those in the shops, I would probably nab one because they are beautiful. I'd rather a unique character from that line though, but since I've never seen any in shops I'd take what was there.

I collect the *base* ponies and the variations of Twilight - unicorn and princess.
However, I can never have too many Sunset Shimmer... <3
