Takara Pony Accessories used in other toy lines?

I made a super exciting discovery a few months back and am so excited to share it with everyone
 (If this isn't the right board please move)

I saw this cute set for sale for $10, but when I looked closer I saw some familiar looking accessories!
It arrived awhile back and I finally have photos to add now. I'm still not 100% sure what its name is, but it looks like the Puppy enjoys hamburgers and styling its hair?
The back of the box is missing, but it does have some cute illustrations of puppy.

It looks like pieces that were shown in one of the Takara ads may have been used in this playset that came out in 1984.
This could explain why the Hair Style Milky set has the same pieces, but in different colors.

It looks like the used the mold for the Bow, Hairdryer, Brush and Vanity in both sets! The chair doesn't look familiar, but it has the same cute bow! Its a bit big for the ponies though.

That is the cutest thing

I'm not surprised to see a cross over with the accessories. We have seen this with the El-Greco mlp line

The accessories could be a different colour in the advert to those released due to a different set being used for the pictures? We've seen this plenty of times in the mlp line!

They do certainly look very similar, if not the same! We've seen it a few times with other accessories as well (not necessarily made by the same company)... the princess hats with pom poms on top and some baby accessories come to mind

Maybe someone else can provide pictures, but the little lily clip was also used by Hasbro for a G1 pony. And of course, as mentioned, el Greco.... They used the comb, bottle, and clip for their version of the babies.

I love the neon orange and mint color plastic Takara used in their accessories back then. It can be seen in different lines.

It's a bow, and in the center is a single lily of the valley flower. I think it's a great hair pony that it came with?

I can't seem to find a better picture of them for the G1 ponies. Someone else had noticed the difference, and made a comparison. I'll post that... I usually don't like to do that with other people's pictures... but it shows it the best and I can't remember where I saved it from.

That little bow barrette is perhaps the most well known cross over from regular G1 to Takara it also pops up with a lot of fakie lines (including fakie Takaras). Reuse of accessories is surprisingly common...sometimes its because they arent actually made by the company releasing the toys.

However more important...that little doggie is adorable!

Oh! Thank you bandit I know which lily clip you mean now. I notice the lily of the valley is used quite a lot in the Takara artwork. I've often wondered if it's significant in some way or they if used it because it's cute.

Thank you so much you guys for the links to these photos! I actually had no idea that the clips were used by G1 ponies as well! It makes me so curious what else they have maybe recycled for the line!

I knew I should have bought a set I found in a used shop here!  They were selling it for approx $10, it was called "oshare da wan" instead of "Osare na pony." It was just like the MLP sets but with a dog instead, and I believe it was made by takara.

That's awesome!! And so so adorable! I wonder if they were trying to break into the pony market with a dog lol. How long ago did you see it?

The little dog does remind me a little of the Takara pony plushies that never got made.
