2015 Ornament Swap - all done

I do travel a lot.  Not as much as some, but certainly when I do, it's for longer periods of time than most travellers because it's work most of the time.  But when I was 24 I hadn't left my home country either.  I actually still haven't seen a tonne of Australia, just east coast things. 

My first trip outside of Australia was Thailand when I was about 25.  And then nothing until I was 30.  But now I've been a bunch of places.  Just got to want it enough I guess and a bit of luck too.

Okay, so two of my partner's gifts have come in.  I'm wrapping tonight!  I should be ready to send after one more shipment comes in.

Partner, you may not really get much, but I tried hard to follow your wish and want lists for swaps.  There are a few extra "from me" tidbits (meaning made locally or near favorite haunts of mine.)

partner. do you prefer to ribbon to hang ornaments or the thin metal hooks?
i've noticed some ornaments don't come with either.
me? probably ribbon or none. not 100% sure how to use the hooks.

and i just notice. xeevee. 0.0! those trees are huge!! i know we had trees that we bigger than me when i was little, but where in a house would those get put?
all our trees now are about 3 ft tall, and sit on a small curio cabinet.

Those trees won't go in a house.  They are part of the Hannover Christmas market.  They'll be decorated and lit up out there.

No.  None of the trees are on the footpath/sidewalk.  So they aren't touching any buildings.  Just each other.  And well, These new buildings they started putting up in the middle of the trees today.  I wonder what they're for.  The one furthest from my apartment has a sign that says ver-(something I can't remember) punch.  So it might be a place to buy Glüwine (glow wine) from.

The trees are quite massive though.  From the top they kind of don't looks so bad.  But given I'm like 6 stories up.  They are huge!

Ooh how lovely!!!!! All those trees!!!

Just coming by here real quick to update my allergies! I just found out the hard way I'm allergic to shiitake mushrooms!? We made fried rice two nights ago, we went to the Asia market and bought fresh ones to add in the rice! I'm STUPID and was like, " Oh! These smell delicious, I'm going to wash them off and eat them!" before frying them for the rice since the package came with so many.  I ate them raw! O____o now I have purple streaks all over my belly, legs, back, and this rash that is severe on my arms!! Antihistamines havnt been helping and I had to get a shot on my hip. Apparently there is even something called the "Shiitake Raw Rash"  so I'm not alone!? Soooo weird and RANDOM but yeah no real Shiitake in my Swap box please ha-ha! Although ornaments would be cute! x3
