any one delt with taileytoyshop on ebay before?
« on: October 11, 2015, 10:06:30 PM »
so  I recently purchased a lot  of  fashion style  ponies  from taileytoyshop

I got the ponies in the mail today and   2 of them have issues that were not  mentioned in the listing or  shown in the listings photos!

luna has had a tail cut,   im not too fussed on this , but   in the listing photos it was not   very  obvious at all .

but im more   annoyed  at  the condition of  poor apple jack!

who has a very  noticeable  cut   or bite  to her back leg.

also not shown  or even mentioned in the original listing.

i don't really want to return them as I got the lot for a good price over all.
and apple  jack is sort of hard to find...

im just irked  by the   damage she has.
i did  send the seller a  polite message  asking if they would  consider doing a partial refund.
as the items are  not as described in the listing.

heck the original listing  states "very good condition"
and "great for collection or play"

original listing

well see what happens , I was really looking forward to getting these ponies.
but  opening the box and finding this   really  is a downer.

Its always disappointing when ponies aren't as described  :(  FS AJ is HTF so I think if you can live with it then I think you made the right choice not asking for a return/full refund if the original price was good.
I   would wait to see how the seller responds before leaving feedback/deciding what to do next - please let us know how it goes

seller  responded  saying that they  don't  do "discounts"

i explained again  that , the item was   hard to come by  and i didn't want to return them,
and asked  if they would  at least   refund the   shipping amount  if they didn't want to   refund on the  ponies them selves.

im  going to give it untill friday  to see what they  respond with.
there was absolutly no indication in the listing at all that the ponies would be damaged / flawed like this .

im not going to budge  as i don't  think its  an unreasonable ask  for   a partial  refuend of   $10  to $15   AUD  here,

normaly im not a fussy  collector.
but this is  just  poor.

i did have a look around for another AJ   but  couldent find one for under   $40  , and thats  before  shippng.

the other  3 ponies in the lot were fine , all tho all of them were a little grubby

well the seller  is  just  blatantly ignoring what i'm saying in my messages now.
and  are  unwilling to move  on their   stance.

-send the items back for a full refund or  nothing.

i also like  how on their listing  it says that they   don't accept  returns.

do I want to elevate this further ?
or should I just  leave them with a negative feed back.

Well, sellers are not obligated to give partial refunds.  Some sellers might but it's totally up to them.  It's well within your sellers rights to refuse to give one and insist on the full return, and if you go to ebay about it that's what they'll support.  She will accept returns though, because that's an ebay policy and not up to her.  If you get the full return I don't believe you get the cost of shipping returned.

If they don't budge and you don't want to send them back, I would just give them a negative or neutral and go on a search for a new pony. Just make sure you don't say anything in your messages about feedback or give them any ultimatums or eBay will remove your feedback.

It's just obvious to me that your seller isn't going to budge.

This ^^  because as Skeen rightly said, sellers are not obliged to give you a partial refund and ebay will not force them to :awake: . Sellers are however made to accept returns even if they state they don't , and you would win an item not as described case - but since the seller isn't going to accept a partial as a solution they would make you return the ponies ..so if you don't want to do that, just move on and leave appropriate feedback . Its such a shame that the seller could have avoided this by being polite and doing a partial or even better - describing the ponies correctly in the first place :(

so ended up  just leaving the negative.

if AJ wasn't part of this lot   and it was some other pony that was banged up  I would have gladly  returned the lot.      well I guess  this AJ can sit around  untill  I can find a  nicer one.

still I'd issue a caution to any one   buying with this seller.
they seam to  just be a  flipper / recycler   and don't   properly check over items.
