I got a tablet! (my first pony art)

She's shaky and imperfect, but I'm very proud for one of my first tablet attempts, especially since I haven't drawn ponies in years! I name her Cherry Tomatoes. Looked at a g4 for reference to try and come up with my own style for them.

I'm using pixlr, does anyone know how to make it less pixeled looking? If I can smoothen her out, I think I will offer the shape as an adoptable

I dont know much about pixlr, but there are other free digital art programs such as Gimp or FireAlpaca (I think that is the name) that maybe are a bit more complet : D

You did an amazing job if this is your first time using a tablet! I like the style, I can see a bit of G2 flavour in her as well. Very cute!

I'm not familiar with pixlr either but I can second Sochy's suggestions. I believe FireAlpaca is intended for digital drawing/painting (haven't tried it myself but this is what my sister tells me) whereas Gimp is a photo-editing programme similar to Photoshop.

I will try FireAlpaca, thanks! I knew someone who used it but forgot all about it. Pixlr is nice being in the browser and all, but it has also been glitching, so   

And I didn't even notice that I put g2 in there, but you're totally right! It must have been subconscious

I would recommend Krita over GIMP. Both are free, advanced software, but Krita has more options, brushes, and less glitches than GIMP. Both programs have websites / wikis / tutorials to show you how to use them.
