Need help locating or commisioning a Pair of Rainbow Dash Equestria Girls shoes.

Hello!  I posted this in the general corral, but was referred to this forum... I'm hoping someone here could help me in my search...

I'm trying to find shoes that match the ones Rainbow Dash wears in the Equestria Girls cartoon for my friend's daughter who is 8 years old and I believe a child's size 2 (US).  I've seen women's Converse Knee High shoes that are the right color, but nothing in a size she can wear.

If anyone knows of a site/store or is into designing custom clothing for cosplay.. that would be a huge help!

She wants to be Rainbow Dash for Halloween.

Something quick if they dont found at time some shoes like RW ones is buy blue boots, maybe like those ones:

And decorate them whit white... eh.. i dont know the word in english... ribborn/tape or even paint them! Is an easy alernative.

If it's just for one costume, I'd recommend buying a cheap pair of shoes and then making boot covers to go over them:

If you do a quick google search for "cosplay boot covers" you'll get a lot of examples of what can be done with this method. It's pretty cheap, too. For Rainbow's, I'd use a white pair of trainers or plimsoles, sew stiff interfacing to some blue fabric and then either sew or hot glue that to the base shoes after sewing strips of white fabric or ribbon on as the detail.

Zulily had Pinkie Pie EQG shoe covers the other day, but I don't think I saw EQG Rainbow Dash...if they are making Pinkie's shoes, hopefully you'll be able to find Rainbow Dash's! Good luck!

Making boot covers sounds like the easiest option to me, if sewing is not a problem. Good luck!

Buying leather boots sounds a bit much for a costume-

I think boot covers would probably be the best option.

Also, if you contact crafters on Etsy who make costumes or boot covers (granted they are getting VERY busy this time of year already) - I am positive you can find someone who is willing to make boot covers for you.
