Deviant art scammer alert

hey just a heads up for any one who uses DA
there seams to be a sacam / virus thing going around that follows the  same format as the ones  you  get on tumblr     you get a random message out of nowhere acking you to click on a link.
in this case  its promicing a way to get free premium.

DO NOT CLICK IT.   

delete the message,  block the account  and report it  to DA.

I just sent to check my DA and was greeted by this .

i went to check the  account it came from and   its   raising  lots of red flags

this accounts been deactivated now  but    I've since received several  copy and paste messages the same from other accounts.

all showing the same  warning signs of being  malicious  bots.

so I'd  sill urge  people to be weary of this.     if you get a message like this    delete it.


and if you do go to check the account its  come from  things to look for    are

- new account / joined this week!
- no deviations / no faves / no journals
- high number of   page views
- DA ID  or other  information fields not filled out  or  vague.

- check the comments left on the page for what other users  have received the same message. 


if you encounter any such accounts  report them to   DA   or block them from viewing your   profile and delete the  message  *(after reporting if you choose to do so)  but   DO NOT CLICK THE LINK.

i get the feeling that   like  the fave and watch bots  and points bots this is going to be a trend  on DA.

oh yeah, I think i got one of those messages a while ago! when i clicked on the guy's account it was deactivated right after the message was sent - very bad sign xD i didn't click the link though, it seemed too fishy to me
