Since creation ofa brand Bible was one of the things listed I'm guessing g5 is either in the works or they may be working on a spinoff. Like maybe they are finally going to do equestria academy.

I don't know but I'm very interested to see what changes whoever they hire brings. There is so much potential with MLP. I hope they hire someone who is able to tap into it and bring some really fun things.

Good point about spin-offs!  It could also mean organizing the G4 information for 3rd party licences.  Or keeping the current bible up-to-date as the characters go through new experiences in the show.

I think it's supposed to mean that the focus is not to rely on a key item selling but to build the brand identity as a whole. Products are created to support the IP as opposed to building an IP based around a product.
