The Nendoroids Discussion Thread

I do hope they make more nendoroids of non-anime characters!

It just sucks that for some of them, they become a pain to get outside of Japan due to licensing issues. 
I wish it was easier to get the Pokemon nendoroids.

I was able to get red from the pokemoncenter.com website last year I'm hoping the new Nendoroids show up there too!

They are available to some parts of Asia from GSC's store. In Europe...I don't think there are actually any options, (Is the Paris Pokemon Centre still open or was it just for an event?) sucks because the aftermarket prices are horrific because of the rarity (also don't get why a licensing issue means no one can sell it in the UK/elsewhere in Europe. Surely someone has that license somewhere here...)

Naturally I'm freaking out.
I can't remember how the goodsmile shop works for sure, so I was hoping someone could fill me in. I know that when you pre-order they don't take the payment until it's getting ready to ship... but I also remember that it only does that with one method of paying? It's either paypal or credit card that you're charged instantly versus them waiting to charge... which one is which?  I don't have the funds right now but I want to pre-order with the option of being charged when it comes out in January.

I think it's credit card, but I don't use GSC's online shop due to their expensive postage. When I've taken part in group orders, the host usually asks for payment via paypal shortly before the release date, though.

When I preordered Snow Miku from them, I used Paypal and they didnt charge me until about a few weeks before her shipment date (they send you an email a few days beforehand mentioning it and if you need to update your address information before a set date; the email is basically a "heads up, we are gonna charge you after _____ date in the email, so get yer funds ready" warning.)
Same thing happened when I preordered the Harvest Moon Miku about a month ago.

I got wind waker link and mark VII Iron Man.

And I am very sure they will multiply.  I keep googling Isabelle.  Haha.  I think the only thing saving my wallet is I haven't really watched much anime in the last 10 years so I don't know who a lot of the characters are.  If they were older characters from when I did watch anime... I'd probably be done for.

I have a few pre-ordered as well. Also anxiously waiting for Koujaku to go up for pre-order!! <3

I just found this thread and had the squeal with some fellow collectors.
I have every Iron Man Nendoroid so far and have pre-ordered the next two releases... And when I saw the concept art for Captain America I just about screamed!

The new Zelda Majora's Mask Nendoroid is adorable as well, especially because I'm currently playing that 3DS game (never played it as a kid, my brothers used the 2 save files lol)... but I already have a figma Link, must resist!

I've gotta admit, while I don't collect them myself, I do love the Miku series. There are some adorable ones.... Sakura Miku is a favorite, since she's the pseudo-mascot for my local convention, Sakura-Con. The Snow Miku annual line is super cute too; I almost got the figma version this year as a Sakura-con advance exclusive. She's super pretty. But man, that Celestial Maiden Harvest Moon Miku is gorgeous! The only thing preventing my room from being swamped with my beloved Vocaloid nendoroids is that I prefer more articulated figures. I'm collecting the Sailor Moon figuarts anniversary line, which is the same price as most nendoroids, but much more detailed and articulated. They're SUPER beautiful, I love putting them in dynamic poses. I'm about.... oh, six or seven short of completing the set as released so far. They're tons of fun.

They neeeed to hurry up with Koujaku! (and Clear! I want my jellyfish boyfriend <3).

Finally received Yuki Yuna and Snow Bell Miku yesterday So, so cute <3 Still not sold on the jointed "Super Moveable" Nendoroids, though. The joints are very stiff and tend to fall to bits.
