Requesting lineart

Hey there. I hope I won't break any rules with this. I've been trying over and over and seems like I can't get it right. So I'm turning to the Arena in case there's someone talented enough to lend a helping hand with a fellow.

I'm trying to make two stained glass style pictures, like here:
visitors can't see pics , please register or login


To cut it short, the first pic would have a castle with several happy ponies around it doing their business, below the castle, in the basement would be a big library with full bookshelves all around, and in the middle, Lore-Lei, peacefully (cryo) sleeping inside a big pink crystal. The second would be a more sinister variation of it with ponies fighting and Lore-Lei acting scared, like she has a nightmare in the empty library.

As for payment, I can't really offer but art trades in return. Though I'm still around the base of the learning curve of drawing ponies, so exactly for that, I don't ask for much just a mere sketch if you work on paper, or a simple lineart if you are digital artists.

I can draw G3 style on paper well enough by now, especially the headshots, as well as I'm experienced with making vectors.

Have you tried looking through the "Commisson an Artist" thread at the top of the forum? I am sure you will find some talented members there you should be able to commission for this work.

I did, however the problem is I don't have a credit card so I can't really pay for it with anything other than my art.

As much as I hate asking others to help I also believe in the 'you got to know when to fold 'em' thing.

I can't see the pictures but sounds like a lovely idea!

However, I will need to ask you to edit the first post to state what you are offering in return for the artist, be it a trade or commission, as asking for free stuff is against the Arena rules (with the exception of small avatar/signature requests which are allowed in the Adoptables forum). That is, if you are actually asking for a drawing rather than just help.

Many of our artists are willing to work for ponies or other stuff, if payment is an issue, and art trades are pretty popular, too. I hope you will find a solution that suits you best!
