PC and ID confirm on a large group of G1 ponies--Part 1
« on: July 15, 2015, 05:01:10 PM »
Hello, I am looking for a PC and ID confirmation for some G1 ponies I wish to sell. When I was a child and played with them I mostly gave them names I made up, so I had to cross-reference with an MLP Wiki I stumbled across. I am not familiar with all of the collector's terms (with the exception of "mint" and "mint-in-box"/"mib"), so I chose to simply post pictures to help verify the condition they are in. All are at least in good condition, however, and I tried to get close-ups of any marks or scuffs which I can remember.

I took the pics on my phone, and not all  of them turned out, so if you need a clearer one simply say so and I will re-shoot. None of them still have their ribbons, and if I have the comb/brush I will say. Also, if an accessory isn't listed then I do not have it, I will list all that I do have, however.

Also, this is not the full batch which I am selling--these are simply the ones whom I have gotten semi-useful pics of--would it be a better idea to simply keep posting them in this thread, or to start a new one?

Zig-Zag--No comb

That's part 1. I also have some playsets, a lot of baby ponies, and some petite ponies, but I was worried this post was getting too long.

Edited to show larger pics.
Also, these are old toys I played with as a child, as did some of my family, so while none will be mint, most of them are still in good condition at least. I tried to document any marks, scuffs, imperfections, etc., so as not to accidentally mislead about the condition of the ponies. Some of the scuffs and marks may come out with a magic eraser or the like, however, I have only cleaned them by combing the tangles out of their hair and rubbing down the bodies with dishsoap and water (except the so-soft ponies, for obvious reasons of course), so I am not certain.

Part 2 of the list is here. http://mlparena.com/index.php?topic=371441.new#new
There will also be a part 3, I will post the link when it is up.

Hi! In answer to your question, I think it would be good if you started a new thread when you get Part 2 up. That way people are more likely to see it. Your price check post is very organized, by the way; that's awesome and helpful! ^.^

Zig Zag -- $10
Wing Song -- $5
Sweet Notes -- $20 if sold with her comb (which is hard to find); $10 without it
Sunspot -- $3 because of symbol scuffing and mane fading
TAF Sundance -- $5
Sugarberry with comb -- $5
Flat-foot Butterscotch -- $10
Bow-Tie -- $3
Flat-foot Blue Belle -- $10
Cha Cha -- $65 (hard to find)
Pony stamps (how cute!) -- possibly $10 each (hard to find)

These are my initial thoughts on prices, but prices can range around. Do you plan to sell them on the Arena or on Ebay?

Thank you, I tried to keep it organized to help out a bit. I was thinking of selling them on e-bay at first, but I think I might go through here first before going to e-bay. I'll post a link whenever I get the thread set up. I'll also post a link to future PC/ID threads, and vice-versa. All of the ones pictured here will be set up for sale, with the exception of Sweet Notes (since someone from here has already PM'd me about her, so I'm setting her aside for them), and maybe Sugarberry, since she's only $5 and was always one of my favorites (I'm going back and forth about her).

Also, thank you for telling me the names on the stamps, that will definitely help come selling time.

You're welcome! And if you need any help selling, you can always post questions in the Trader & Classifieds Support board. And if you want to keep Sugarberry, I'd say go ahead and do it. It's always nice to keep your childhood favorite. Some people have come to this board to sell their childhood collections and then get back into collecting ponies, so beware ^.^

Such a cute selection:

Zig Zag - $12
Wingsong - $6-7
Sweet Notes - $20-24 due to comb
Sunspot - $8
Sundance - $4
Sugarberry - $10-12 normally but she looks as though she has had a mane cut which is going to bring her down to $4-6 unfortunately
Butterscotch - $8
Bow Tie - $7
Bluebelle - $12-14
Cha Cha - $65
Stampers - $5 for BT and Moondancer, $8 for Skydancer

Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

Just updating to let everyone know that I am ready to start selling, and I will be putting up the sale thread tomorrow, however, if, in the meantime you see a pony or object which you would like to see put on hold, feel free to message me. I am open to bundling on the cheaper ponies and items, and willing to haggle (within reason, of course).

I still have more sets, accessories, and ponies which I need to PC, and any additional threads or updates, I'll be sure to link and cross-link. Again, thank you everyone for all of your help and friendliness.
