I'm deeply saddened to say that the more I look at them, the longer my want list gets. 

I started out with just one Rainbow Dash and one Fluttershy, to go in my herds...then I bought another Dash, but kept them both in box.  Then I bought a loose one. And that's where it got crazy. 

Now I have like, 10 on my want list!  Does anybody in here collect them?  I know they aren't super popular with adult collectors, but I'd love to see pics of your collection if you have any!  Ebay is pretty much a WASTELAND for them, there are hardly any auctions for loose ones at all.  So strange to me.

I just wanted an Applejack  I've got a couple of different Applejacks, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash the Twilight Sparkle/Sunset Shimmer two-pack, the Sonata Dusk/Aria Blaze two-pack and my personal favorite Mane-iac. I think they are quite cute but I wait for clearance sales, I'd like some of the pajama themed dolls eventually.

klein - I knew you wouldn't disappoint!  Mane-iac is SO awesome, but I'm still trying to keep my list down to mostly yellow ponies, so they fit in with the rest of the herd...a few stragglers won their way on though, like Amethyst Star, Cheerilee, and Lyra Heartstrings.  Dang it.

Looks like a bunch of stores are clearanc ing them. Wal-Mart had all but the budgets  on clearance last night (including sapphire shores).

I'll have to check my Wal-Mart!  They weren't on clearance last week when I looked, but it can't hurt to look again.  I REALLY want Sapphire Shores and I've yet to see her in person.

Yeah- I think they're pretty cute.  I especially love the "Rockin' Hairstyle" dolls- such cute outfits, and I like that their arms and knees bend.

yeah i never intended to collect them either, i have never been big on dolls and i never liked the idea of the ponies being dollys, now i have 6 of them and i have totally fallen for the jointed ones, big one on my want list at mo is the first ed. deluxe rarity. i want her so bad, i found one yesterday here but i can't justifie paying $35nzd for her, not when im saving up for my little girls birthday so i had to leave it there

I totally love the dolls! At the moment, I'm more interested in collecting them than the Ponies (although I'm anxiously waiting for the Sunset Shimmer plush and the Maud Pie figure to show up here).

I'm not able to buy the dolls too much, though; I also wait for clearance sales. It sounds like Wal-Mart is the place to go at the moment! I hope my Wal-Mart will be clearancing everything on Monday and I can find the Rockin' Hairstyle Fluttershy there still.

My want list would be huge. LOL. I don't think I've figured it all out yet, except that Octavia is at the top of it. And the Science Twilight, but I doubt I could ever afford her! I'd be happy just to have her and not all the accessories, but the price would probably still be too much even if someone decided to sell her loose. And let's see ... what else....

The Crusaders set
Applejack (maybe the one from the same line as the second Trixie)
Maybe Sapphire Shores
Maybe the Dazzlings (although I'd probably only ever be able to get the Sonata/Aria set)
Lyra and Sweetie Drops
Celestia and Luna (probably the Wal-Mart exclusive ones)
Maybe the third release Sunset Shimmer, with the wing dress
... Or the upcoming release in the motocross outfit

Usually I don't get more than one of a character, unless there's a significant difference like the later Sunsets having the correct hair or the new Twilights being the naturally human Twilight instead of Pony Twilight. But I love Sunset so much that it's tempting to get all the releases of her! Same with Twilight; there's several releases for the Pony Twilight that are tempting me as well as her naturally human counterpart!

I also might get the Midnight Sparkle doll. And while I love Mane-iac as a doll despite not liking her in the episode, I doubt I could ever afford her.
