Flash Sentry and Twilight Sparkle 2-pack?

I just saw these guys at TRU yesterday and thought...why haven't I seen anything on eBay or anywhere else about Flash Sentry becoming a doll? He's totally adorable and he and Twi are packaged really nicely, but I was just wondering if they're out elsewhere?

Flash was show at the NYC Toy Fair this year.
I think some of us are hoping for a brushable pony of him sooner or later

Maybe your TRU is the first to get them.  I hope it doesn't turn out to be one of the hard to get dolls that don't seem to show up in the USA.

And yes Flash Sentry looks adorable.  Tempted to get it just for him.

No, and today was Canada Day, so all the stores were closed. I'll get snaps tomorrow and will be more than happy to pick up a few if anyone wants them :) I believe there were about 10 on the shelf, but I can't remember the cost presently. There may be a sale starting tomorrow as well!

Ahh, true. Hope you and the other Canadians had a happy day!

One question I'm dying to know before the pictures come: does Flash have rooted hair or is it just painted? Drives me nuts how most boy dolls just have molded, painted hair!

He was shown at the NY Toy Fair as well as the MLP Fair this past weekend. I have a picture of them that I took at the Fair! It's not a very good picture. I think they're super adorbs! :D

Interesting! Well I like Twilight with glasses- but I'm not sure I'm super into Flash-  I think I'll hold out and see if I can get the science Twilight at the Hasbrotoyshop after the Con.

Here they are! They're retailing at $44.99 Canadian, so I dunno how much it'll be in the States...maybe $39.99?

Wow- that closeup makes me want Flash even less.  His hair and smile don't look very good and the color mismatch between his face and body- WOW that's bad.

But if anyone wants them and doesn't want to wait- they are actually on the Hasbrotoyshop for $24 (I just noticed).

Very deceptive that all of the marketing photos in no way show that horrendous color mismatch...

i'm ok with the mismatch, even the weird hair.
i'll probably see if i can pick up a second flash from someone who just wants twlight later to see if i can scalp and "rehair" him.

my biggest concern is if he's jointed at all.
