I echo Lady M. This is a twitch of mine, actually - people calling Baby Schoolbag and Sportstime girls when they're officially guys, just because Hasbro chose to be cheap about their pose.  He was originally meant to look like this:

Nuff said really. I just assume Hasbro in Europe had lost the access to the boy pony moulds by the time he was made, because he was always drawn as a boy in the pony comics and his backcard story refers to him as a male baby pony.

Therefore, I have HIM.

I remember me and my friend when we were little, browsing the new MLP pamphlet were we saw the brand new ponies including the Pre-School Babies. My friend saved her pocket money for weeks to buy Baby Schoolbag because she totally wanted a baby boy... and then it was a baby girl mold :/ I remember how disappointed she was.

This is the difference between the UK and US. For us that's a baby/female pose (and what first comes to mind). No offense meant. :o) I do like the pamphlet/proto type image, at least both versions have freckles!
