I don't think ive seen them before--though it makes sence they existed (I grabbed a my little pony one while I was in Germany when I was a kid).

I know the vintage care bear comics in the US go for about $5 each, but not sure about these since they are European.

Just out of curiosity I translated the title of the Care Bears and got Darling Small Boar if you put it in one word at a time. Only when together does it come up with Care Bear. Interesting.

Yes, because the loose words have that exact meaning. The Dutch verb "vertroetelen" means to take loving care of (and spoil a bit). And when we want to say 'little' we can use the word 'klein' but also put 'je' or 'tje' at the end of a noun. So: beer - beertje or beren - beertjes (second one is bears, and kind of irregular so not a really good example lol). I hope that's clearing because it's pretty hard to explain.
