Tips for Bathing/Washing a G4 Pony?
« on: June 17, 2015, 01:40:36 AM »
Hi gang!  I was just wondering what tips/steps you have regarding bathing a G4 pony?  I've never washed one before and I've got a handful that need a bath.  What to use, ect?  Is it safe to get them wet?  I know the earlier ponies are prone to rusting.

Your help is appreciated!    :)

You can wash a G4 like any other pony. They do have small metal clips and washers on the tail in the earlier G4s and I think even in the later ones.

Just remember to have the pony sitting oh her rump so the water can drain through the tail area.

Just like any other pony or brushable plastic horse. I'd leave the conditioner in a bit longer because of that wild hair though

Well, they can rust just like earlier ponies, so I usually wash mine under running water as it's better not to submerge them. Dish soap works great, and conditioner for the hair. Magic eraser is good for any stubborn dirt.

I think perhaps it depends what degree of bath or pamper they actually require. They are all relatively new toys so you may find a baby or antibacterial wipe are better for all concerned :)
