My Lil Zombies 2015 - Crazy Lily & Bloody Bouquet (nsfw or for weak stomachs)

Hi, how are you? long time no see =)

I've been away due to some health issues + moving to other country in the last years, I don't make many customs nowadays.  I like to make a couple zombies every year, this are my newest ones:  Crazy Lily and Bloody Bouquet.

This is Crazy Lily:

Both were made from normal sized g3 ponies. Their full body painting was made by hand with craft acrylics for the base layers (Americana)  and I used Golden and Academy acrylics of the top layers and details. I also used matte medium from Golden for sealing between layers and Jo Sonja's glass varnish for the finishing touches on the wounds. Also, I used flat-back Swarovski clear crystals to finish the symbols and over all look.

I used hair from RetrodollsUS and many craft materials for the bases. The moss is real moss I got from the store, glued it to secure it to the base and applied matte varnish from Jo Sonja on top to keep it from disintegrating.  They're both removable from their bases for convenience and safest shipping.

They are both really beautiful and grotesque but in a good way The details are phenomenal, especially on Bloody Bouquet.

Crazy Lily seems somehow serene despite her situation, and I really like her color scheme

@MikeysGrrrl:  Thank you!  I like to make them, but also to keep their cheerful attitude from their previous life.  I usually write their story, but it's on the DA post hahaha  I didn't want this post to be huge!

@SunPony :  Thank you!  She absolutely is!  They're always trapped in that very last minute of their previous life. They don't realize they're zombies now =D

These are gorgeous. I love how you've made them beautiful and kept their personalities and not just...bloodied them up like I've seen a lot of other zombifications do. These are definitely works of art and not simply novelty trend items. You've really put a lot of thought into them and I love how you can envision who these ponies were prior to their unfortunate disease. It's really tragic and beautiful.

@medleymayhem: Thank you!  I really try to set them appart, although I'm jealous of artists who can really really make them look like complete horror pieces. There are some really good works out there that give stomach aches! T^T   I'm happy that you like them and that you also value the effort on the technique and the story I make for them =)
