PC Paradise Estate (amazing condition, mostly complete?)
« on: June 07, 2015, 11:58:42 AM »
Hi! I'm in the middle of buying several ponies from a craigslist seller, and they also have many amazing g1 playsets in nearly new condition. After drooling for a while I've narrowed my main want to their Paradise Estate, which they think is about 80-90% complete. Its very brightly colored and clean, nothing looks damaged or faded in the photos. So what is a fair offer? From talking to this seller they aren't a collector, this is just childhood junk they need gone. But I still want to offer close to what it is worth without killing my budget entirely.

PE varies dramatically in price - mainly depending on how many of the smaller and harder to find accessories are included.

If it has most of the accessories but perhaps missing a few of the smaller and harder to find pieces (not missing all just some) then perhaps $150-160.

Do you have a rough idea of what the set has?

If it's the one in Modesto, I can tell you it's missing most of the small pieces(silverware, cups, plates, etc.) On the other hand it *is* as nice as it looks; the seller is where my home sweet home set came from.  :)

She kept very good care of her childhood ponies, they were played with indoors and kept out of the sun.  The only bad thing is they were asking for the highest prices they found the items for on eBay, at least, they were when I was talking to them.

Just be warned, it does have a couple cracks, but overall its in nice shape. :). They started asking like $250 or something for it, but they've gotten more reasonable as time goes on, lol.  Among other things, they have a nice nursery and 4 sets of twins with accessories, too. :) I would have bought more from them, but I already have most of the the stuff they were selling.
