Are we talking about the fifa women's world cup?

I know its bad but we usually only go nuts about mainstream fifa--but I do know the womens one starts today-ish

I think about the only time Canada gets in o.o

We seem to be more distracted by the goings on at FIFI HQ than the fact their is a world cup going on! Its terrible but women's football really does not get the attention it should - lets hope this world cup brings it more to the fore

Although as we are now in the close season, I am just happy there will be football of any kind on for me to watch

I haven't watched a World Cup in ages! I wish luck to everyone playing that they will all have fun though!

Yeah...watch.  Everyone will go nuts when the boys play.  Its like its the only one that matters--which is sad.

Woohoo!  USA in the final!  I can't wait to see tonight who will be meeting us there.  I'm hoping for England but I think it will be Japan again.

Congrats to the US women!  That fourth goal was my favorite.  So beautiful!  Did anyone else watch last night?

We had a party last night to watch the game- my wife has been obsessed with women's soccer since the Olympics.

It was a fun game although maybe not as exciting as it could have been since the US got those 3 goals right away.  But still a fun game!  We're big fans of Hope Solo (she used to play for University of Washington)  aaaand Abby Wambach- who is just awesome.
