New ponies in TRU Australia

No pony mania set at TRU Aspley :'( VERY sad... and I took the bus out there, and then the bus nearly had an accident as I was getting off, and I dropped a shopping bag without realising... worth about $90, and I'm STILL trying to get onto the council about it, but because it isn't worth more than $500, they won't talk to me until tomorrow, urgh! Damn TRU, you RUINED my day! If my ponies had been in that bag, it would've been much bulkier and I would have noticed the darned thing before I pretty much fell off the bus!

Oh man! That's awful! I am sorry, gah. Hopefully the council will do something when they do hear your story.

Oh no! Not another one of those collector sets! I've seen that a few people have gotten these ponies recently but I didn't realize you had to buy them all together. Ugh, Hasbro! I don't have $40 or $50 to drop all at once! *heads reluctantly to ebay*

If anything eBay is worse O.o you'd be paying $20-$25 a pony as compared to $40 for the whole thing :c so you'd be paying in total a little over $100 for all of em if purchased from eBay individually :L

I haven't seen Cadance much, but Roseluck and Lotus seem to be in the $5-$7 range, while Helia and Lily and Lavender are more $2-$4.

I just checked recently. And there's multiple auctions up that's "cheap" (ofc until someone drives the price up). I'm a sore loser, so I automatically head for the BIN

G4 tends to have 1 US release and 1 international release (the latter packed in all the languages it could possibly need). However even the multi language packages are not guaranteed to hit the countries in which they are packed for - its just a cheap packaging option for manufacturers.

Well I just headed over to the south side store, and got the 2nd last pack there... I had to get the staff to get them down from the top shelf for me, and the girl put the last one back up the top, so anyone heading to that store, look up for the mania packaging with the flowers, that's how I spotted them (I pulled up the photos here and compared). I thought I got the better of the two, but upon close inspection out of package, all bar helia and lavender honey have paint issues, from symbol and eye smudges to stray paint in places it shouldn't be. But new ponies!

Wow- out already in Australia!  I do wonder if the states are going to miss this set- I do want the new ponies- I guess I will wait a bit longer and then check out some Chinese sellers.

I wish knew for sure but in the past haven't the TRU exclusive sets like that always hit shelves a little bit after SDCC?

That sounds about right.  I'd say we might start seeing them pop up over here later this summer/beginning of fall.
