PC on boxed Applejack G1 snowglobe please

Hello all!

Sorry I haven't been that active as of late 

I'm thinking of parting with my boxed Applejack snowglobe - please see below - the waterline is half way down and somehow dust has got into the water

Box is in very good condition but the celophane has burst on the main window

If I was to sell it, how much should I ask for?

Bah! I need that for my Applejack army. I have no idea on a price check, but I know they don't come up for sale very often, especially one in box. I hope someone can give you an idea of the value.

I paid $40 for my Bowtie, no idea what they're worth, they don't seem to be around much.

Oh, and duh, mine was without its box.

$145 to $180

It's a rare item and applejack is sough after plus it's mint in box. I would have to range it's price like this beacuse of its rarity, even tho it's not perfact its still rare.

Anyone feel free to bump my price check down and tell me I am wrong. I won't be ofended.

I saw mib seapony ones selling for a couple to a few hundred. I wonder who got those.

I just assumed this one has been opened and taken out?

This is a super popular bit of merch and in its box...wow...you just dont see that too often at all. As others have said its going to be kind of hard to put a finger down on price due to how rare it is; if you are selling I would go with an auction and reserve.

Rare and hard to find merch does not always go as high as rare and hard to find ponies but I do think this will be up at the $140 mark. There are some very hard core merch collectors out there (not to mention AJ collectors) who will no doubt be interested.

Wow....erm....im not sure what to do.....

In regards to my snowglobe, you can take it out of the box as there is no tape, so I can assume it may have been displayed at some point.

I will upload more photos of it out of the box tomorrow (lighting in my house is terrible at night)

*If* I decide to sell, I dare say it will be an auction as I wouldn't have a clue what to ask for

I've only seen distance pics of these in box before, not close up. I am not sure what their distribution was, though I know it was definitely here in the UK. My sister has a loose BowTie one and I'm sure she has a seapony one somewhere, but they were from carboot sales, no box or anything like that.

I would venture to say that G4 may have made Applejack the sought after commodity, too. Awesome thing you have in your collection and thank you for sharing the pics . I wish you luck getting the best price if you decide to sell it!

Ive tried taking more photos but the zoom on my camera really is terrible, everything has come out blurred!

My father in law has an amazing camera which I use for all my ebay auctions, when he back at the weekend i'll swipe it so I can take some better pictures of the water and damage to the celophane.

Will update the thread when I decide to sell
