I am not sure if this is the right section to be posting this in...did a search, and it seems like many posted theirs in this area.  Just got my first tattoo (painful, lol) this past weekend of my favorite OC character, Echo (mix of a bat and a pony).  Think she turned out great

I got my first tattoo in 2012 on the back of my right shoulder. It didn't hurt too much. It was a smaller and less detailed tattoo though, lol.

Every year I go through the same to get a tattoo or not to get a tattoo debate before I end up just saying "nah, not this year".  Eventually, though.  I already know what I want my first one to be, I'm just scared (and I'm usually not afraid of needles).

Awesome! I've been intending to get a MLP tattoo for a really long time, but I haven't really had the funds to get one anytime soon. And I need to find a well-reputed place to have it done.

That's really cool! And a large brave choice for a first tattoo!
I've got a small (2" diameter) on my inner forearm I got on my 18th birthday- because I always said Id get one that day...
I love it, and I've always wanted more but I've never quite had the funds or been decisive enough to get another tat. I would some day really like to get some kind of MLP themed tat, though Id go with something more obscure and discrete- perhaps the Moochick or a Bushwoolie since I love them and theyre a little less pony. Or just a cutie mark of some type.
