It was hot and sweaty outside today, so my friend and I decided to paint in the barn.
The title of this thread refers to what she said. No matter how many times I said I was painting Pegasi, she referred to them as "bird horse 1 and 2."

I actually painted six horse-shaped blobs, but these were the two I could salvage. I absolutely love painting, especially water colors. It's like the perfect remedy to a bad day. Anyway, I really liked how these guys came out (the messy style was super fun) and I thought I would show you guys! Thank you for looking!

I really like your style!  Watercolors are always so much fun and look so pretty!  The facial expressions that you gave them are really great, too.

They're lovely! I especially like Fluttershy and her expression. I love the messy style, it's very fun and freeing isn't it? The addition of suggestive watercolour is excellent as well.
There's no better way to spend a hot day than creating art.

I once did a series of works called Ugly Dogs where I filled an A5 sketchbook with pen drawings of dogs. Every stroke was permanent and I couldn't rip out any pages, they were my best work that year.

Oh thank you all so much~! This was so wonderful to see when I finished my finals today!
I never thought my art was very good, but the feedback makes me want to paint so much more, it means so much to me! I'll post Minty soon, we're packing up and everything is a bit of a mess.

But in other news, my art teacher bestowed on me a painting pallet of my very own I'm so excited to use it once I go home.
Tulips, I absolutely love dogs and would love to see your sketchbook if you ever post it!
