Crochet pony and Takara pony plushies

I've been trying to crochet a g4ish sort of pony (tiny nose) but with out the long neck since I couldn't get it to look right. But recently I found out about Takara ponies and I've started to make little plushies based off of them. (Ignore the mermaids, everything is packed up right now and I didn't feel like taking a new pic.) My sister has requested a crocheted Takara plushie army but I'm hoping I can pry away a few of them to put into my dusty online shop.

I tried it with doll hair but it was too difficult for me though i remember seeing a crocheted takara with that kind of hair. I was thinking of trying strips of fabric next or maybe crocheting a hair shape before sewing it on.

I plan on having a few different colors up for sale by Monday but I'm open to commissions if there is a certain color combo you want.
