Oh my, it's that time of year again already?

Not gonna lie... I kind of want to see Cheese Sandwich.

The mane-iac really surprised me last year. (Though i really wasn't fond of her or her tentacle hair. )
Either way, i bet it will be a fully molded pony again. I think Dr. Whooves would be a good choice. He would really fit the theme (even though i don't care about him myself.)

I guess for the EQG offering they could use the new male body to make him and put him in a 2 pack with Muffin Pony.

I'm already wanting to turn the mystery mini of Big Mac into a bushable but he is smaller than the normal brushables

i wouldnt mind seeing a Cheese Sandwich pony as the SDCC exclusive. Or even a brushable Discord (with a "poseable-ish" body, if possible.

Cheese Sandwich would be cool!  No no no no nonononononononono noooooo to Doctor Whooves, though!  He's a very bland background character and there are plenty of other boy ponies I'd rather see with toys (Big Mac, Cheese Sandwich, Soarin, Bulk Biceps, Thunderlane, etc.) so... just a huuuuge no to him.

I'm still holding out hope for a show-accurate Chrysalis, and if Hasbro doesn't deliver on that, then hopefully Funko will at some point.  If not that, then I'm hoping for a boy pony to get the spotlight this year as a Hasbro exclusive.

A poseable Discord with a bristly mane would blow my mind, and a Fashion Style Cheese Sandwich with super curly hair would be adorable!

These speculations are actually making me excited, instead of resigned, to see what it is.

I've just had another thought. As much as i'd love a certain grey pegasus as an EqG doll, i'd also really love a Flash sentry pony. As they're making a doll of him i wonder if they'll also do a pony at some point His pony colours would make for a lovely figure

I doubt they will do a smaller brushable of him as the SDCC, possibly a FS Pony but with our luck on that they will likely use Rainbow Dash for the mold base.

I do hope it's a boy this year and that it's not Hooves.

Cadance with Chrysalis eyes would be a pretty cool variant. Another idea I would love is a clear crystal Rarity kinda like DJs glitter not the milky one. If we have to end up getting two new black variants.... I would say I want Rarity and Discord, because Rarity would look kinda like nightmare Rarity and we don't have a large pose Discord in black at all since his mini is a different pose.

The Nightmare Rarity I was referring to is from the actual IDW published paper comics, whereas the Power Ponies are from a fictional comic book in the show. Though I can obviously see how that's misleading 8)

I think he means characters from the official IDW comic. And I agree, it'd be nice to see them get merch but they aren't as popular, I'm sure.
