I think this was actually pointed out shortly after the Toy Fair, because some people recognized the scooter.  Dat laziness, tho...

I guess the old tooling still had some life in it, and they just kept it around.  Or they just didn't want to make a new mold when they had a perfectly good design.  I wonder if it will be better made like other G3 toys, since that's basically what it is.

I think it's odd that they didn't go with Fluttershy since the remote is butterfly shaped.

Such a cute scooter!! I'll have to get the G4 mini scooter for G3 babies to ride. :D

well they recycled items on other sets hasbro used in the 80s so I am not surprised of them doing reusing materials with this one.

 Most amusing.  Hey Hasbro, maybe with the time you save not designing new scooters you could design new brushable poses? *crickets*

Is it possible they just threw it together as a demo for the Toy Fair though? I'm going to live deep in denial and choose to believe that until proven otherwise. :p

if they did they'd probably use the mcdonalds toys and throw a brushable mane on and call it new
