Calling all horror game fanatics; Silent Hills isn't happening

For those of you that have played the 'PT' demo on PS4, you probably know about the much anticipated revival of the Silent Hill series.  This new game was every horror gaming fan's dream because it was a collaboration between Guillermo Del Toro (fantastic horror and sci-fi director), Hideo Kojima (infamous gaming designer and producer) and was to star Norman Reedus (badass from Walking Dead).  Now it's announced that the game isn't going to happen due to Kojima leaving Konami (company that owns the Silent Hill series) for what ever reason. 

I am seriously BUMMED  !!!!

Anyone else heard the news?  Are you as devastated as I am or glad this project isn't coming to fruition?

I know!  I follow Radbrad on Youtube and would've loved hearing his commentary (even though most of it is him swearing, lol).  I was mostly excited to see Guillermo Del Toro FINALLY break into the gaming industry.  His horror films are by far some of the best of the genre and his work would've been great in the gaming world.

Oh no!!! I'm so upset, I was really looking forward to this game. My horror fanatic friend didn't even play PT until last month and is a HUGE Silent Hill fan, he'll be heartbroken when I tell him. Such awful news

Wait, what?! That's so sad! I didn't even know that Kojima had left Konami, and that's huge news! (Am I really that out of the loop these days?)

Yeah, the boys are super upset. they were bitching about movie gear solid 5 but it looks like hes going to finish that.

Konami shot themselves in the foot by shelving this project; would've been a very lucrative game for 2016.
