The secondhand market is super slow right now. I currently have 3 dolls for sale and they're listed in several places. They're all under $200, but no takers.

funny. i just bought 4 dolls last month second hand. but some were missing parts or severally yellowed, so the prices were pretty good. one was just a body, but the practice head i got from dollzone, works perfectly for her.

been selling all the clothes i bought to pay for the dolls. i'll be making them clothes instead. (all medieval style clothes are way too expensive to buy, so i'm selling all my modern stuff.)

I recently sold two BJD, and now I'm going to have to dip into selling my FSF, MLP Nirvana, and Kaiju because I want more dolls. LOL. I've already bought three BJD this past month alone. LOL. Which means, in total, I'll have 9 that need to be painted.

What else can I sell?!?!

Wow, you guys... that's a lot of dolls to sell and buy.   I suppose I should try to sell some things too.  I'm just shy about it.

Oh my gosh Tuney! You got sucked in this month for sure.

Yeah, and now I'm completely devastated. They were both OOAK art dolls and when I went to look at them again last night, one had sold. The night before, the seller told me she would not be open to a payment plan. So I was scrambling to see what I could sell to pay for them, but was planning to make the purchase this weekend. I didn't expect them to sell so fast. Naturally, I snapped up the other one as soon as I saw that. Still, devastated...

So many lovely dolls!  That's also a tough break tuney, I think we all know how it feels about the one that got away.
I myself am glad to say that I've fallen back in love with my first doll, Carol.  Stress can really make you hate things you love.  Well, and I finally got brave enough to mess with restringing and stuff so now she can wear all of my old mh tops.

Why not a geek style bird?  Now that I'm happy with her again, I can work with my new doll.  No pics yet, but I will say she's a real sweetie that I bought from Tuney  ;)

I've overbought as well. I was forced to pick someone to go up, and decided to sell my Serenade girl since she is so dang big.  She just doesn't fit anywhere.  Also, there is more of a demand for her than any other doll.

She actually sold within the hour that I put her up on DOA, but I sold her at cost, or maybe a little less, considering the extra parts and face up.  Probably also it just helped that the buyer has seen my name around on the same doll forums (I definitely feel better buying from someone I "know").   What a relief! International shipping rates though, wow not cheap.

Now I have to think about whether I can bear to part with my cute little Pipos Cheshire or not... I love him but am attending a doll convention in October....

(not my picture) but i'll probably do the faceup myself. i've been practicing.

debating on if i should get the single or double joint though 20$ cheaper... not sure if it's worth it.
