Twisted river you must share pictures of Scorpio when it arrives. I think it's utterly adorable but I've only seen the company pictures.

My dollfamily-a froggy arrived today. He is super cute, the resin is really nice, the colour is even and it's smooth and pretty heavy considering he is so little. Can't wait to do his face up! He is strung super tight though. His arms are popping all over the place.

Hannah and I took our new DZ babies out today for some photos, (hers is Big Dipper mine is Scorpio) and I have to say, even without a face up Scorpio has one of the sweetest faces I've ever seen.

I love the eyes that I got as an apology from DDE for my long wait on Leif in her! As soon as I realized they were straight blue without pupils I hoped that they would fit her when she arrived and thankfully they do!

Also got a few shots of her body from different angles and a couple of her face head on so that I can play around with color/face-up/blushing ideas in photoshop while I wait to be able to order some sealer.
Bit intimidated when it comes to unstringing her though.

As I say a lot whenever I pop in here, lovely dolls everyone!
I wish my order of dolls would show up, 6 months of waiting then when they are finally shipped my address was mis translated.  I live ridiculously close to DDE, if it wasn't for that I'd have had my dolls since last saturday, but now they're in postal purgatory

Scorpio snuck up on me. I went back and forth on her for a long time before I decided to order her and I'm glad I did.

Sorry to here about dolly purgatory, I know how bad long waits suck. It took forever for my Leif to come home, I ordered him the first of September was told 8-12 weeks estimated wait and he arrived a month ago today. It's probably a good thing I don't live ridiculously close to DDE or I would've been ripping someone there a new butthole even though it wasn't entirely their fault.
I hope they make it to you soon!

I think I am talking myself out of getting one of the fairyland hippogriffs. I really, really want one, but it's not a financially responsible decision at the moment

I actually had an amazing day yesterday-  I discovered that a dolly friend was selling her Popovy, with a faceup by the sisters, for less even than the price of a blank doll.  I think a lot of people with Popovy dolls may be selling right now in order to afford the new body (which is amazing).  But I am so happy I will finally be getting a Popovy! I've always wanted one. 

Of course then I checked out the price of the Popovy shoes and wigs direct from Popovy. The wigs cost significantly more than even a blank doll... ouch. So I will be making or ordering one for her.  I also learned you can get "blank" shoes from Popovy.

I also got some really cute (and thankfully incredibly inexpensive) accessories now being offered by Serenade.  This company has REALLY turned it around with customer service, and I can't recommend them highly enough now!

Much cute!  On the froggie topic, I have to say the doll family resin is pretty nice really for one of the inexpensive companies. Def would recommend myself too.

Same  I'm trying to save some money for the fair and I'm barely squeaking by to begin with. Plus I hate that there is no combo option, I'd have to buy the full hippogriff and a full realfee to achieve what i want and that just shoots the price waaay out of range.

Even the Hippogriff alone, I asked myself, would I do anything with it? And ultimately the answer was no probably not. I dont need a $450 shelf baby

I was disappointed there wasn't a combo offer either.   Though I did end up getting both the hippogriff and June.   I can't resist the idea of a fairyland centaur and I've been wishing for a realfee for a little while now.  Mari, is super pretty.


Galatica, your Popovy is beautiful!  Her face-up and wig are really working for her.  I keep going back to stare.
