Hi there,

I'm new to the forum, have been a bit of a Brony for a couple of years now. I grew up having to share tv time with my sister, so watched a lot of Transformers and a fair amount of MLP, and now have kids of my own who have the same sharing of fandoms! The new series really impressed me, especially when Tirek showed up again!

I found the website while looking for customising tips. I have started a Queen Chrysalis custom and got a bit stuck when trying to take the wings out of a Cadence pony, so looking forward to reading a few guides on here. Once finished I can see myself splitting time between Pony, Ninja Turtles and Transformers customs, and hopefully justifying my slightly scary toy collecting that I can't really blame on the kids anymore.

I watched a little bit of both G1 Transformers and G1 My Little Pony while I was growing up, so I'm obsessed with both. xD

Hey all, thanks for the kind welcome! Already, real life and computer problems are slowing me down (sorry for the amazingly late response ), but I'll be sure to put up some pictures of Chrysalis as she develops. I've managed to use a couple of posts to help dig out the wings from my Cadence base, so the forum has already helped

Welcome! I love your name. I grew up in the 80's too and had to split TV time with my brother, so I like my fair share of 'boy' cartoons. When I started having babies I introduced them to my favorite toons and my son is obsessed with Transformers and TMNT and my daughter is smitten with SSC and MLP. I have tried to watch some of the modern cartoons and I am not a huge fan, so I have a pretty large collection of vintage cartoons for them to watch (we limit TV time so this is easy because we only used Netflix and DVDs). I would love to see pictures of your custom when you are ready. That is one of my favorite sections of any collecting community. I love to see the creativity that fans come up with. Some of the customs are cooler than the originals. Love your avatar too!
