Sky-diving!

So, next month I am jumping out of a plane for charity!

It's a tandem skydive, but its the first time anyone in my family has ever done something like this.

Have you ever done it? Would you do it again?

I've done it! I jumped off a bridge (twice!) then out of a perfectly good airplane with some guy strapped to my back.
IT WAS AMAZING.

I passed THROUGH a cloud. Did not see Care Bears or Ponies, much to my dismay, but it was amazing being up in the sky with the wind in my face, floating so high above the clouds. adrenaline rush, freedom, sunshine...rainbows and glitter...

I went from the highest tandem skydive in the...country? world? Somewhere near Orlando, FL. went with a friend. bought the video. SO MUCH FUN. Amazing. Highly recommend doing it.
My friend recommended Bungee before Sky diving, since after skydiving, bungee just feels like falling, she said. i did bungee first and would do it again. I'm afraid of heights, but I like to do things that scare me.

I had a class in college where we had to repel off the library (about 10 stories) - and it was SO SCARY.  I remember then thinking no way in heck would I be able to jump out of a plane. I'd grab onto whatever was in there like a tick and never let go !

Heck no. I'm scared of heights and wouldn't jump out of a perfectly good plane. That aside, it's awesome your doing it. Have fun.

As much as I would love to be brave enough to attempt to do that, I think my fear of flying combined with my fears of heights pretty much eliminates any possibility of that

No, no, and absolutely positively NO! xD
I'm terrified of flying, terrified of heights, and just all around paranoid.
Years and years ago, I did a bungee sort of thing with my brothers, my older brother wouldn't leave me alone so I finally agreed to shut him up and the whole time I was so scared I couldn't even scream.
Plus I'm such a baby that I can't even look out airplane windows because of how high it is, so skydiving is NOT for me.
Think it's cool that you're brave enough and for a good cause, have fun..!

I think I would be way too terrified to ever try that. You're pretty brave for giving it a try, lol. You'll have to let us know how it goes!
