That new G2 pony smell!

So we always hear about how lovely g1 fresh out if the package smelled and I love that smell too!

But what I love more? That g2 hard plasticy smell! Ugh I got a lot of g2s today and when I opened tge box, the smell hit me! I was a late teen when g2s came out and I loved them!

Who else here loves that new pony smell? G1 or g2!

Me! I just love standing about in my room sniffing my g1 and g2 ponies, and it's a bit of a rite of passage for a new pony I receive to be sniffed, once sniffed its a part of the herd, kind of like real pony behavior in a way ahaha
I also adore the smell of g1 and g2 ponies still in their boxes!

I love that new pony smell too! Every once in a while I'll open up a new toy and get a whiff of G1- but it's rare. Love that G1 smell! Maybe they should make a perfume for us weird pony sniffers.

G1's have their own plethra of odors. Whether it's fresh out of the package, pefume puffy, kinda basmenty, a bit like a tortilla or just plain play-doh, I like that variety best. I have never smelled a G2; I've had a few in my posession all of which were secondhand. I like scented G3's...

You know what is weird?  The one pony who smells the most like a new pony in my collection is this completely bait Majesty!  There is nothing "new" about her!  I maaaaayyyyy have kept her just to use as an air freshener in the pony room...

I haven't smelled any G2s yet (since I don't have any lol ) but I've just unboxed a G3 Minty and I swear the smell was exactly the same as when I got and unboxed my very first pony... you can imagine the nostalgia I'm feeling right now I never thought I'd adore a plastic-y smell so much!

I really like that G1 mint condition smell as well. My Lickety Split is often sniffed because of it. I don't... Feel so strange anymore for doing it.

Nothing beats the new pony smell! I always loved the smell of a brand new g1 straight out of the box, and sometimes I come across one that still smells a bit like that and the nostalgia is great. When I get home I'll have to sniff some of my g2's and see what they smell like
