I'm happy to say that in spite of the transfer to CGI, there aren't any glaring changes from the cartoon. In fact, there are multiple nods to that version.

The only thing I hate is the new theme song.  Man, they should at least kept the original theme. 

I watched the first episode last night.  I dunno what to think.  First impression was that I did not like it, but I hope it'll grow on me.

Seems like Penny is also voiced by Tara Strong. Nice I kinda like it, it's something new but it stays close to the original. But I would have liked the old theme song. (Whats btw up with al these reboots lately? PPG, TMNT, Inspector Gadget etc...)

Neat. I don't remember a whole lot about the original cartoon (I think I may have seen snippets of it growing up as a kid), but it's nice that this new cartoon has more or less stayed close to the original version. At least it looks more entertaining that Disney's live-action treatment of Inspector Gadget...

Ooh, cool! Though if there's a different theme song I'm not sure if I'll be able to stand it. But if it's on Netflix I will totally check it out!

Also, to get this off my chest: back in the day I actually liked the Matthew Broderick movie version. There, I said it in public (sort of)! I haven't seen that movie since it came out, but I liked Matthew Broderick, so I liked the movie, I guess. People complain about it all the time and I'm like, "Yeah... bad movie... I guess..."
