The battle of the rainbows!

This poll was pretty tough for me.  The more bold colors of year 3 really appeal to me, but year 2 has two of my absolute favorite ponies (Parasol and Sunlight... I think I'm a sucker for shy pose ) in it.  I went with year 2, simply because finding really nice year 3 rainbows is so frustrating, lol!

year 2. I also love the body colours of those ponies more, but I'm all about the older, more unusual poses like that of Starshine and Skydancer, so it was an easy decicion.

I can't decide.  I had Moonstone and Starshine in my childhood ponies. I've been wanting another Starshine for a long time but I can never seem to find a good one. I also like Starflower and Pinwheel from Year 3.

I prefer the colour combinations of the year 2 Rainbow Ponies. ♥

I voted for Year 2 because I like the classic pastels a little bit more than their vibrant cousins.

Plus, I was pretty obsessive-compulsive as a kid, and it always irked me that the Year 3 "rainbow" ponies' manes weren't at least rooted in rainbow order. Would pink-coral-chartreuse-aqua have been so hard, Hasbro?! lol

I think the year 3 ponies are gorgeous- but I never had them so I have to go with year 2!

For me, the boldness of the Year 3's makes them my pic. The Year 2's are nice and everything, but even though I love pastels, the soft palette doesn't scream RAINBOW to me!

I personally like the Year 3's colour combinations better. But still, Skydancer, Starshine and Moonstone are amongst my favorites of the early G1's. It's a tough one, though- good luck to those who are voting for it!

I like both sets. However, I lean towards the Second set or year 3. I guess I just like them a little better because I like the neon green stripe they have like Surprise.

Year three has my heart. I just adore Pinwheel and Starflower.
