Basic MLP Build a Bear animals are 25% off at Build a Bear

Hi, everyone

I noticed on Facebook last night that Build a Bear is having a 25% off sale on their basic My Little Pony animals until supplies last. I don't know if the sale is also going on in stores but it is online. Basic (without clothes or accessories) Princess Twilight Sparkle, Zecora, Princess Celestia Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Trixie are on sale.

According to the email I received, it ends on the 19th of March. When I went into store on Saturday the 25% off was advertised, and when I asked if it would be valid for the new ponies if they arrived on the 18th I was told it wouldn't be (might still try if they show up online and just hope I don't get one with mangled wings).

Is anyone here aware of how long they'll have the older releases around?  I think I remember hearing somewhere that they'll re-release some older ponies once they run out of stock, but I'm not sure.  I was hoping to snag a Pinkie while the sale is still on, but since I'll be getting Cadance and Luna on the 20th, I was considering putting it off until the next sale to save a little bit. But if there's a chance she won't be there next time there's a sale, I may as well bite the bullet and get all of them.

There is no way of telling.  When BAB first released ponies, it seemed like there would only be two out at a time.  Pinkie Pie went away for a while but then she was brought back.  And now there are no less than 9 ponies (10 counting Applebloom) all at the same time.  Trixie also went away for a while and then came back.  So who knows?

I would always advise get them while you can, because they do get marked up in the second hand market when they are no longer available.

I took advantage of this sale last weekend, and it was absolutely worth it. Saving 25% on the Build a Bear Workshop ponies really adds up.

I mentioned this to DH (we haven't bought DD a BAB pony since AJ last year) so DD could get Trixie, but he said no. I agree with him, I mean, the hair drives me completely nuts because it's a mess before we even get home from the store...still, it's hard not having all of them! For DD, of course

It looks like the sale is over now since the new releases are out. I hope everyone was able to get a Build a Bear pony on sale that wanted one.

Darn it, wish I'd seen this sooner.  I did get my Luna, and they had a bunch of the other ponies, so I think they had stocked up again.  At least that means the older ones are still out there, for anyone that needs to get any of them.  I really should have gotten my Rainbow Dash while I was there.
