Steven Universe anyone?

I'm really confused as to why "Steven Floats" didn't air here. It was in the French leak lineup after all?  Did they decide that more people watched it when it leaked online so just didn't bother? Huh.

Well, the eps that aired in the US were already set by the time the eps aired in France.. they're not going to revise the schedule just because CN France aired them early.

The SU dog tags are very cute! I'd consider collecting them if I wasn't already thinking of selling off my entire collection of MLP dog tags. I just don't know what to do with those things.

The episodes are not "leaked" - they aired on Cartoon Network in France. France just got the episodes before the US for whatever reason.

My bad. Like I said, I didn't know anything about the episode, so I just assumed it was leaked. Had no idea that France aired episodes way before we do...which is weird. I wonder why?

Oooooh, but that does explain why when my husband and I watched 'Hit the Diamond', the opening was the old one and the little logo at the bottom was in French. We had watched it early because we weren't going to be home on Thursday-Saturday. Which brings up another question: France doesn't use the newer opening? Because when the episode started I was like "Did we click a link for a season one episode instead?"

I was wondering about this, too! (I watched the "leak", for lack of a better word, of "Steven Floats" the other day.. generally I wait for them to air in the US first but we don't have an airdate for this one yet and it was getting hard to avoid spoilers, lol) How weird.

As for why they aired early, I'm guessing it's probably at least in part due to CN US holding onto the eps for so long, maybe it threw CN France's "schedule" off or something, if that makes sense.. CN US don't seem to really keep in touch with their overseas counterparts, they've done this with other shows too. (I.e. last year they pulled some Adventure Time premieres at the last minute and put it on hiatus for a couple of months, and the eps ended up airing first in Australia) I could be wrong, of course.

My guess is that they time the episodes so as to not compete with other things- but who knows why there is such a HUGE delay now between the airing of the episodes in France and then US?

Is it really surprising that Greg would spend his money that way, though? I mean, the guy lives out of a van. He probably could be used some sort of financial advisor, haha.

I've enjoyed the episodes so far. It may sound stupid, but the one about Sour Cream and his relationship with his step-dad and actual dad kinda hit home for me. I thought it was a really interesting subject to touch on, one that you don't get in cartoons.

Yeah, Greg obviously is not the best with money. There is probably a reason he lives in a van, down by the river...

I also love that SU sneaks in deep stuff every so often...  the show actually tackles a lot of issues most adult shows can't even handle.

I believe Greg mentioned having money in the episode where Stevonnie races Kevin, so I'll take that as confirmation that he still has a bit left over!
