UGH. I GIVE UP on livejournal.... i tried to register a new account since i cant access my account.... i use 1991 as my birth year and it keeps saying, "sorry but we are no longer registering people under the age of 13"... WHAT. This website cant even count! =(

Aww, that sucks.  I didn't even bother with joining anything like that, since it sounds like a pain to be accepted and whatever.  That's really weird that it's basically telling you that you aren't old enough...

In happier news, this wrapping paper is awesome!  I can't wait to wrap all of my partner's goodies in this stuff!

Me too! I don't think I have a chance at finding any Pokemon wrapping paper, and I would feel kinda bad using the old stuff if I found it.

So I was out shopping pretty much all day yesterday and I only came away from it with a few sticker sheets (not even Pokemon) and a card for my friend's birthday. :/

I found no Pokemon -- the closest thing I could find was Pikmin.

I looked EVERYWHERE -- down every aisle in pretty much every store. I was even looking in the most unconventional places, like dinnerware and stuff. Not a single Pokemon item in sight (except for a very small number of card booster packs at Walgreens). But my town is kinda known for not having any good shopping areas. I'm going to have to visit the nearest city (about 45 minutes away, so I go there every once in a while but not extremely often) to do some real shopping. Or go visit my mom -- on the way to her house there are a lot of good stores, but it's a 3 hour drive. But hey, at least I got some good stuff online already!

Seriously, not even yourvToys R Us or trading card section in Target have pokemon items!?? Well there is always amazon and ebay! Walmart- the bigger ones with grocery and GM stuff will carry them near the registers. Good luck!!!

Do you have a michaels? I went to 2 michaels and both had these AWESOME pokemon sticker books with tons and tons of pokemon stickers in them I wanted to get one but they were like $13.. Fair for the amount of stickers in them but I didn't want to spend the money lol

I wish there was a Michale's here but the nearest one is 40 minutes away. All I got is a crappy Joann's. And Hobby Lobby.

My walmart only has cards and no actual pokemon toys.

I've ended up importing most of my stuff as what little is available in the stores here is horribly expensive :/ It's nearly £20 for four minifigures!  Think you're taking the p*ss a bit there, UK shops. I haven't seen Pokemon plush toys in shops in years, either

Edit: I have managed to avoid buying anything for myself that is Pokemon related (it has been a struggle!).

Also, does anyone know if Pokemon ever made an Omanyte plush? I'm trying to figure out if I dreamed it... (though I promise if they did, I wouldn't go looking for it until -after- the swap )
