I'll probably be buying my partner a bunch of Easter candy right before/after Easter when it's on sale. And I'll buy some for myself, of course.

Also, on the topic of unusual Pokemon cards, I have a few of the special cards that came with the Pokemon Burger King toys back in the day. I would LOVE to have more of those cards! They're the pride and joy of my card collection. I'll try to remember to take a picture of mine when I get home.

Also, here's a question: I have a lot of card duplicates, but none of them are of the Pokemon my partner specified as favorites. So: How would you feel about receiving loose Pokemon cards of Pokemon that are not on your list (but are still pretty cool -- not weird stuff like Trubbish and Exeggcute)?

My own answer to that question is that I think they would be fun extras. I have a lot of cards, but there are bajillions of cards I'm missing. If the pokemon is cool and the artwork is nice, I'd probably enjoy it even if it ends up being one I already have.

I love cards, so I am perfectly ok with this. Spare/loose cards in no way, shape, or form have to be of just my favorite Pokemon.

Also, my fiance just got a notice today about the new Pokemon: Symphonic Evolutions concert tour and he said if I was interested in going he would pick up tickets as a slightly belated birthday gift, since they will be in the city about 45 minutes from where we live  (I told him he was crazy to think that I would say I wasn't interested!)

Most of the cards I need tend to be from the e-card series, and even then it's mostly just rares and holos I'm missing. If they're foreign cards (except Japanese, unless they're from the earlier series) then that would be cool!

I have a good idea what to get my partner candy-wise. Just gotta find where I put the box...
