Trying to remember the name of an old childhood doll.

It was a mermaid doll, Barbie size, the tail could come off and she'd be human. I had three of them in different hair colors Purple, Pink, and White. I remember they even sold outfits for them.

They from the early 90's.

That's when Mattel made awesome Barbies and they weren't stuck in a fin and top that couldn't come off like they are now :P

No they weren't Barbie dolls, they were definitely Barbie knock offs.

Mmkay well I've found quite a few knockoff mermaid dolls, so it seems like a pretty vast field and none of them have much info. Here's some images I've found.

Well, I had an Ariel doll whose tail could come off like that, but I'm sure she's not what you're talking about...
