Your best pony find?

I find g1s all the time so here are some of my top finds:)  Night Glider, Pristina, Bouquet and Quackers (all perfect condition) for a dollar each!Valentine twins with a couple other g1 babies for about $3. Winger Skydancer $1.99. Tex with hat and bandana for $5 at a garage sale. A german daddy Bright Bouquet for about $2 from thrift store.

I have found a few Nightlight's and Raindrop's for 1-5 Euro on german fleamarkets. I also found there a Greek Baby Peachy for 50 Cent.
Best find was a Macau Bluebelle for 30 Cent on a fleamarket in a church. Also a mint Bernacle with hat and scarf for 1 Euro and 2 Baby schlummerlein for 50 Cent ;-)

But that is years ago...

I found a bunch of mint G1 princess ponies for reasonable 15-ish dollar prices and a flawless G1 Cupcake at the same place.  I have never seen 80's tinsel in such good condition~

I found Soft Sleepy Newborn Sweet Dreams at Savers for $3! I've had a few other good finds, but that was by far the best. I also found the Wishing Well porcelain figure at the same store for $4.

Aside from my most recent call, I once won a lot on ebay and was so nice to the seller she decided to throw in an extra pony for free - Pearlized Baby Surprise!! <3

I feel that my best pony find so far is finding a very good condition Cha Cha Llama (Pony Friend) on eBay. Sure it cost me around $98 to buy her, but... I regret nothing.

My first 2 ponies ,It was an impulse buy,and years back I realized they were actually very discounted for what their original price was and for what they go now on ebay or here on the forum
they were the Fluttershy and RD g4 "riding along"that came with scooters ( a week later I found Twilight for 4.99 as well )
I paid 2.99 for each, their original price was  7.99 and now they go from 15 and up
so I started my collection saving 10 LOL

It's not a pricy one but, I'd say my best find is a G1 Minty in near- pristine condition. I found her in a thrift store for either a dime or a quarter, I can't remember. The only real flaws she has are  1  tiny black dot on one clover and a smidgen of what looks like sky blue paint on her leg but that's absolutely it. You really have to give her a good look over and squint to see them, too.  The only way she'd probably look better is if she was still like brand new in the packaging.

G4 Minty A for $50 BIN n ebay back in march a few years ago. Im still in shock! :3

Also I got a few prototype ponies off taobao super cheap. I have a pink tinseled sunset shimmer and a color-accurate princess celestia G4 that I havnt seen anywhere else, im the only person I know who owns them. They were a couple bucks each.

I look allllll the time in thrift stores for G1 and hope to get lucky. I would love to find mimic in a baggie for $2 but really any G1 at this point would be awesome!

Thrift store wise, I did find a nice Lil Tot!

I traded her off though, I don't like to keep ponies I don't
much care for just cuz they're valuable. Still it's a pretty neat memory of mine.

I've had some reasonable luck over the years. ^^

So far my best finds would be;

I found 3 TAF Yum Yum's all under $5. One has gorgeous pink hair and smells pretty. I think I paid a $1 for her.
Baby Sunbright for 10c,  she has issues, but hey I still love her.
3 Glow 'n show ponies all under $5
2 UK Princess Sparkle with their saddles and one works.
2 Scandinavian Gusty's ^^

The most I've paid is $5, I feel very lucky.

I haven't been actively collecting ponies for long, but I wonder if it really kicked off last spring when I spotted a Daisy Dancer Sweetheart Sister on eBay. Something about her colour combo and gracefulness really grabbed me. I didn't buy her, but I did blog her on my tumblr.

Anyway, last summer I was thrifting and the most amazing thing happened. I found a Daisy Dancer in wonderful condition -- complete with earring and factory mane curls!!!

I love threads like these! My best find was 100 ponies on Craigslist for $100. I didn't know what was in the lot or what condition they were so I tried to offer something fair in case they were all baity. Most of the ponies were pretty dirty, but quite a few were just perfect and so mint! There wasn't anything ultra rare in there, but ther were several hard to find ponies and I found lots of upgrades for ponies I already had. My favorites were Glow, Flurry, Fancy Mermaid Sea Shimmer, and some TAF ponies!

My best find so far has been the Show Stable and a few G1's straght from someone's attic at a thrift store last summer.
