Anyone ever customized a G3 to look like a Big Brother?

Has anyone ever customized a G3 to look like Salty, Steamer, Chief, or any of the other Big Brothers? That'd be interesting to see since Hasbro didn't make any male G3s themselves.

I made the G3 McDonalds ponies into Big Brothers and others after seeing some wonderful regular G3s here by others. I'll share pics when back on my computer but they're for sale in my Etsy store if you want to look now.

Years ago, MyHatBarks made me a lovely g3 Tex for my Tex army. She even bought a little bandana for him! I still love him to bits. I'd love more g3 boys. Sorry the pic isn't better.

Wow, these are all amazing! :D Barnacle and Tex look factory-made--and the way you tackled those McD's ponies, archidraca, is ingenious! Especially painting the hooves instead of molding them...I can only imagine what a nightmare that would be on such small ponies. Did you spray-paint the bodies for that smooth finish?

I made a flutter pony to look like a big brother :D  I made an Ice Crystal flutter pony for my dad since he's a geologist, so I thought it was appropriate.

Thank you. Only Barnacle is spray painted. I used Krylon because the can said it was plastic-safe. The Tornado was an experiment in Sharpie-dyeing something. He turned out very well indeed and is shellacked to Jupiter to keep him from transferring color elsewhere. Even after a year he's good so...  :biggrin: I'm better at small details now so I might try differently some time in the future if I get exceptionally in the mood for it.  ;)  The G3 McDs ponies have bodies nicer than one would think in both colors and poses.

I have done a few. Mine were meant to be "Little Sisters" though so they don't have the feathery hooves.
