Favorite Easter Goodies?

Cadbury mini eggs- the ones with that powdery candy coating and smooth milk chocolate center!

So many Cadbury creme egg lovers here... until high school I was pretty sure they had actual liquid egg in the middle, and by then I had no interest in trying one. Still haven't. Huh! :/

Does rushing to Walmart and Target the day after Easter looking for marked-down candy count as a "goodie"?

Anyway, I LOVE the Cadbury caramel eggs! Not a huge fan of the regular creme-filled ones, though. 

I also love the solid-chocolate mini Cadbury eggs, as well as all the "candy bar" eggs; Reeses, Snickers, Milky Way, etc. Though they're honestly not any different than the candy bar versions you can get anytime.

Peeps were one of my favorite things to get in my basket as a kid, but not because I like the taste... I actually hate marshmallow, but it's so much fun to plunk 'em on a plate, put 'em in the microwave, and watch 'em blow up. Doing that kinda became an Easter tradition for my family.

GryffindorHerminone , I do that too with Easter, Christmas and Valentines Day. (My friend and I call Feb. 15th 50% off chocolate day.) I don't drive, though, so sometimes that doesn't line up. I want to surprise my family this year, so I'm going around and trying to figure out what everyone's favorite things are and putting them into little mini baskets I found at a second hand shop. I love any excuse to go a little crazy for holidays and this should be fun.

I haven't been able to find these in quite a few years so I am not sure if they still make them...but I think they were called Scoops?? It was a little egg carton that had 4 chocolate eggs that you would break open. The eggs were filled with either chocolate or vanilla icing/cream and the pack came with little tiny spoons for you to eat with. I look for them every year but haven't been able to find them lately. 

But other than that my other favorites would be Peeps, Cadbury eggs, and chocolate bunnies (the one in the gold foil and the red ribbon is the best...I can't remember what kind of chocolate it is though).

That's more than a goodie, that's epic! Cheap chocolate is the best because you feel less guilty about buying it.

Cream Eggs, hands down. But I do like all of it - Haven't had a cream egg yet this year, I will be curious to see if their new method of packaging is worth the extra 17 cents.

Oh I love talking about holidays! Hoping to finally celebrate St. Patty's day this year.

I love Easter. When I was little we usually went to my aunt's on my moms side or my gramma's on my dad's side. We switched off with his extended family for visiting between here and the cities for visiting. We had Easter Egg hunts with them but my favorite was celebrating at home and waking up on Easter morning to find eggs the Easter Bunny left and our baskets. It was a tradition that I got a stuffed rabbit with mine as a small child. Never chintzy ones either.

I loved Peeps growing up as well as Reeses Eggs, Starburst Jellybeans and Easter shaped Sweettarts. I was always jealous of my cousins cause they would get these mini egg cartons of gum eggs and chocolate covered taco shells with random chocolates from a local candy shop. I actually bought myself one a few years ago and realized I wasn't missing anything lol.

Now as an adult I love Cadbury Creme MINI eggs, Cadbury mini eggs, smaller Reeses Eggs, Sweet Tart Easter Shaped (when I can find them), and Starburst Jellybeans. I can't stand Peeps anymore oddly enough. I've missed putting together Easter baskets for my nieces the last few years but I will do one for my boyfriend and possibly my parents this year.

No bunny knows Easter... LOL. Years upon years of looking forward to the short lived 'cadbury' season...

I used to love just regular Peeps but then they came out with new flavors and dipped ones so now the regular ones are blah to me.

For me chocolate of any sort, and cream eggs, I adore them.

Peeps are always fun! I also love the Starburst Jellybeans. I think they're only sold around this time of the year so I always grab a couple of bags.
