Do you Think the My Little Pony Tales DVD will be hard to find in stores?

Hi,

I just ordered The My Little Pony Tales DVD from Amazon. The only places online I could find that even mention the Tales DVD being available to order is the Shout Factory website and Amazon. I couldn't find anything on Walmart or Target's website.  I was just wondering if it's going to be really hard to find in stores like the G1 complete series was.

I didn't even know this was coming out!  Awesome!  I bet you could find this at Hastings.  They had the Complete Series of the G1 cartoons there.  But if not, I'll be ordering it from Amazon.

I found the first season at Best Buy in the US, I'm fairly certain that Toys R Us had it as well. I would guess Tales would be easy to find locally... (Easier than it has been to find than Mork & Mindy Season 4-gonna have to give in to Amazon to get it, it's NOWHERE....)

I didn't even know My Little Pony Tales was coming out on DVD! I only just found about about the original G1 series DVD, which I've already found popping up on eBay.

The release date is in April right?  I remember when the TV series one came out as a rerelease and I didn't see it anywhere, except by chance at FYE but I had to order it on amazon.  Walmart had the couple of episodes which were also released.

I work at Best Buy and I've seen (I think) all the recent G1 rereleases there... I wouldn't be surprised if this one isn't hard to find either. Whether or not I preorder it on Amazon or just get it at work will depend on if I can get any discount off the retail price.

Never had any problem finding MLP and Friends. Shout is pretty good about the distribution so I'd say this one should be fairly easy to find too

I couldn't find the original mlp complete series dvd anywhere so i ended up getting it on target.com and got free shipping with my redcard so I'm hoping the tales dvd will be on there as well once it's released.

I find it easiest to just get stuff like this via Amazon. But I hope those who are looking locally will find it, too, when it releases.

I have a feeling Wal-Mart will carry it.

I'm looking so forward to it. In case it is hard to find, I may just preorder mine....

I never saw the Shout Factory's G1 Complete Series  DVD in the stores in my area. I did see the other G1 DVD Escape from Catrina and other adventures. I'm excited that Tales is coming to DVD too.

I think you'd be able to find it too. I've seen the G1 series and movie at Best Buy, Wal-Mart, and even Target. I ended up buying mine on Amazon just because it's more convenient for me. I live 30+ minutes away from any store.

As long as the first set was popular enough in stores, I would say its pretty likely the same retailers will cover the next release as well. But if in doubt, with a pending release date, you could certainly ask those retailers who had the first one if they have a listing to carry this. No guarantee customer services will know...unless its already listed in internal directories.
