Complete Collections

I'm about three from finishing North American Releases (except Sea ponies - don't care for them).  Missing a Teeny Tiny, a Birthflower,  and I've forgotten the other.  Been so long since I've checked! 

Not aiming for a complete set of G2's only collecting what I liked back then.  I do have Study and Play MOC, and my grail is Click and Nosy MOC.  To the other G2 Collectors, how did you get Click and Nosy?? I've only seen them come up for sale a few times in the past.   And the sail boat twins, have they been removed from the box and played with?  That boat screams Play with me so load from behind the plastic, I can hear it and I don't even have one.

G3's Didn't even try to get them all.  Figure I'll need something to chase after in my old age. Which isn't to say I don't have any, I've got one of those massive rubber maid tubs full of MIB, and then bags of loose.  See at where the prices of them are at right now, I should start collecting!

G4's, not interested.  There's gotta be a line somewhere, and right now, that's mine. Anything this is "Super amazing awesome" I'll buy.

Gosh there are actually quite a lot of people with complete collections A lot of people have been collecting for a long time after all. I have heard of plenty of complete G1, G2 and G3 collections over the years.

I have a complete US G1 and Euro/UK G1 collection - actually almost complete with all accessories as well (just missing 3 accessories grrrrrrrr I shall find them one day)

Hi There, No unfortunately I still have plenty more to go (269) In the beginning I made myself a list of 683 ponies which includes The G1 US issues, G1 US mail orders and a select number of international issues (mainly the UK & Australia ones... also snuck the dutch ones in) I sort of hope I don't finish it for some time as it's quite fun trying to find ponies I don't have now

Luck I think? Local French auction sites have them occasionally. I was lucky enough to get them from a site like that, or ebay when the G2s weren't as popular as they are now.

My best French twins find was in a local goodwill store here o.O

My G1 collection isn't complete yet. I still have 19 more ponies to go and plenty of US mail orders. I don't define my collection as complete because I dont really collect seaponies. They are cute and all but not my style. I know I shall complete my collection someday.

I am missing some extra french ponies to complete my frenchy collection and concerning MOC greeks I am missing only 6 of them (the super mega rare  + white moondancer  ) (I do not include babies I only do adults atm    even if I have 2 already  )

Wow, so many people who have completed collections. I don't think I'll ever be completing mine.

I have several complete collections from various countries for G1:
US
UK
Holland/Dutch
India (all 6 of them)

I'm only missing 1 from Brazil. Depending how picky you are with variations, I may have a few other countries complete, as well.

All these complete or near complete collections are giving me some hope! I'll have to go through a checklist soon and see just how close I am. I know I have a way to go but I'm coming along all right. I just finished my BBE set with Baby Gusty and it always feels good to get a set completer.

  I saw a video of someone actually playing with the G2 boat in their tub LOL
so that has happened more often I bet , mine is in it's box ,it came out  so I could iron the box a bit ,but went back in

I found 1 of the twins on the facebook MLP pages and then I found the pair on an ebay auction ,I was very glad to won them and that they did not go over 90 dllrs

Well....I guess it depends on what you call complete?  For me, it includes the standard-size pony (regular and special releases), accessories, playsets, and any special ribbons and combs. I consider ponies like Dream Beauties, ponywear and giant So Soft babies as sub-collections and not really a part of my main complete collection.   I also probably don't have the common combs, brushes and ribbons for each pony but I do have the special ones like flutter ribbons and guitar brushes for the Rock n Beat ponies. 

If you're counting just the "playful" size ponies, I have:

G1's
Complete US & UK (unique ones) with accessories (not all brushes or ribbons unless they're special ribbons)
Complete US & UK (unique sets) playsets with accessories (may be missing a ribbon or two)
Complete unique ponies and most accessories from Germany, Sweden, Australia/Netherlands
Complete ponywear from US, UK, Germany, Greece (as far as I know...so many variations!), and mostly complete from Argentina, Spain. I also have outfits from Peru, Brazil and even a Takara outfit or two. 
Hasbro Softies plushes, including Honeycomb

G3-G3.5's
US & UK Complete -- collected them and their playsets as they came out.  Most of them loose. 
Also have all the ponyvilles and the mermaid ponies that came out with sets.

G4's
US & UK Mostly complete -- just missing recent ones that I'm tracking down. Most of them loose. 

I missed out  completely on the G2's. I never really liked the adults when I saw them in stores and I wasn't actively collecting at that time. It would probably drain my energy and bank account to start collecting them, so I just focus on the few things I need for my past collections and the current FiM stuff coming out

Love Melody is the last one I need, although technically I need an upgrade for Minty, too. I haven't been actively buying for the last year or so. One day when I have the funds again I will finally complete my Brazilian ponies.
