Well I finally got my Shining Armor and Cadence! They arrived Friday in the world's largest box (which I felt to be ridiculous) I was surprised how huge the boxes were for these two- I guess because of the complaints about tail breakage with the princesses.  Still- that size packaging is not going to fit in my stuff so I recycled it!

Congrats to everyone who have found glitters already-  I do actually like the way Cadence looks. Like candy.

Picked up Cadance at the mall today.  I was going to get Shining Armor too but they weren't buy one get one 50% off so I put him back. 

I'm going to have to return the Cadance I got, though.  Her quality is absolutely terrible.  Stray marks all over her and her butt is completely flat like she'd been dropped on it while her plastic was still hot. :/ No wonder they keep it so dark in Hot Topic...

That's was why I was scared to order them, Funko's quality is grab bag most of the time. Its a shame they don't up the quality some of their figure are quite nice, like Luna's. I hope I like Shining Armor better in person, Cadence  is starting to look lonely.

Caved in and got me a Princess Cadance Glitter on e bay .
she is made of different plastic, very soft bendable plastic on her glitter, she looks good,but to the touch .....I don't know she feels not so great, I do like the hard plastic of the previous ones better than this new material,this plastic would not break easily for sure as the previous ones, but I think it would degrade faster in a hot or sunny environment
if it ever gets stored that is.

I was going to return my Cadance after picking up my order at the store (she mostly just has paint issues on her mane which I don't mind so much), but my fiance and I checked the Cadance's they had on the shelves and they all looked WORSE than the one I had.  I just bit the bullet and dealt with it.
