Not sure where they're getting their prices

"What Your Old Toys Are Worth"

http://www.msn.com/en-us/lifestyle/family/what-your-old-toys-are-worth/ss-AA8HoV9

Even for MIB toys, their prices are way too high.

Nirvana grails:  Reverse Gusty (upgrade), Peru Windy and Moonstone (upgrade), Brazil TAF upgrades, Argie Powder w/ white hair (upgrade), French Windy and Moondancer (upgrades), Spain TAF's, TE's, and piggies.  These are my biggest wants, but I'm looking for tons more nirvanas, especially Greeks, Brazilians, and Peruvians.  Feel free to PM me for sales or trades.  But please note that I'm also fairly picky.

I saw this before and told whoever linked me that all the prices were ridiculous. It's like they just wrote whatever came to their mind for prices!

The Digimon tamagotchi is about the only thing that is priced correctly. And even then, it often sells for a higher amount ironically.

The Charizard one is fantastic. Completely cut out the fact that you need a 1st Edition graded 10 by PSA to get that price - The one in the photo is worth about £10-15 last time I checked.

I've seen a bunch of these - one was on our local newscast, it showed a heman worth $2000!

I'm thinking they must go with the highest graded, mint in package, prototype, one of a kind, signed by the artist pieces and then figure that sort of price attaches to them all.

explains alot of ebay prices.
people find things second had, think they won the lottery and list them for ridiculous prices.

oh well.
it's funny though cuz several of those toys have had updated releases and only really "collected" by major fans.
easy bake oven for example..... what the what?
we have one from the 50's not easy bake brand, but same premise, that might get close to that price, but probably not...
wow. just wow.

I had quite a few of these, LightBrite was so cool, still have my original pokemon cards, super soakers, furby, skydancer! skipit, and i miss the old poly pockets. I remember wanting that castle SOO BAD haha. I didn't have a easybake oven but I did have a creepy crawlers oven xD, I was a weird kid.

Im surprised there werent any my little pony mentioned?

Someones gone loopy--and not in a good way.

That's hilarious--and sad at the same time.  The poor bozo that believes in these prices..

Those prices are just crazy. I see these lists a lot on places like buzzfeed and always have to laugh. I have to assume that these people are looking at what people are ASKING for an item on places like eBay, not what it actually SOLD for (I have to explain this concept a lot to people who aren't familiar with eBay). You can price an item as high as you'd like, doesn't mean it'll sell for that much  :P
