Hair seems rough after re-hairing? {solved | mods can delete}
« on: February 07, 2015, 02:50:25 PM »
I've been noticing that whenever I re-hair a pony, the hair seems rough to the touch, not smooth like that of the original hair. What am I doing to cause this? I use a collapsible eye needle and KatSilk, so the hair isn't low-quality in the first place.

Thank you in advance for any help. ♥

Wash the hair with a conditioner after you've finished rehairing and gluing. Use warm water and it helps release the hair making it softer. Hope this helps.

Sometimes just the act of pulling the hair through such a tiny space can make it seem rough and not as nice. A good shampoo and conditioning always work well for me and leave the hair like new.

As the others have said, washing with conditioner should help. I hope you're able to make the hair as soft and smooth as it used to be! :)
