I shall begin

1. Wyndeboo gave me Seashell's tail, her ear is chewed (the plait hides it a bit) but at least her head and body match 
I love Baby Sunbright in this 'photo as well, her mane and tail have been trimmed like so many because the hair is dry.  I bought her from Sarah Bee.  I scrubbed and tubbed her, re-painted her eye liner and did her stumpy little tail up in a pink ribbon.  To me she is perfect.

2. Pretty Vision... Kelly Pony Feathers just sold me her barrettes recently and I just love her.  I need to get a new 'photo of her with her accessories! I'm a sucker for ponies with damaged ears.

3. This is a baity pair of ponies. Lickety Split's hair is all coarse and totally faded. Candy Apple had a buzz cut, I still have her tail somewhere but it's horrible. She has black dots and reddish stains.  However, I have no inclination to re-hair her and show her off like this whenever possible.  In my ponyverse they work at the fun fair.

Pinwheel is my favourite baity pony because my mom found her for me. We were at the thrift store hunting around for ponies when my mom found the baggie with all of the ponies in the picture. Pinwheel is also the first G1 we have found in the wild. Right now she has no tail because it was a knotted mess, and her insides were coated with rust from the disintegrated washer. But she's still very special to me.

This is a very good thread indeed; more love for the ponies who've been through the mill! That rainbow tail really suits Candy Apple; she looks very stylish with it!
I'm not sure if these two really count as baity but they're certainly far from perfect...

There's Linden, who I stumbled upon her while looking for ponies when I first started collecting again; Wingers were completely unknown to me at the time and I immediately fell in love with them! One of her wings is bent and her hair and tail are a right fracas but I like the idea that she's had a life before she came to live with me and now I'm adding to her story.

And Heather! She's the first pony I got in my new herd to replace my childhood favourite, who was called 'Tulips' because back then all my ponies were literally named after their symbols. She had to be cleaned up a fair bit when she came to me, as she was a complete mess (the saddle she came with was a total travesty and had to be binned, sadly.) She has a very frizzy tail, eye rubs and minor symbol rubs, as well as a small dent in one of her shoulders but she will always be my favourite. I love her white hair, even if it's technically considered a flaw, I think it looks really nice and mellow.

Frosting here looks just so delightfully silly.

I don't have a pic of him right now, but I have a Lucky with chew marks all over and chopped mane and tail. I love him because his condition is so funny when considered against his name.

Oh lovely ponies everyone! No idea what I'd do with a missing horn hole.... I think I'd be tempted to stick something over it to be honest so they don't look like they've been um... injured. But still, super cute! I'm well jelly of your Moon Jumper, Hilamb!

Poor baby lickety split! Her other eye is okay but a bit rusty. This is why you don't roll your eyes at anyone, it'll get stuck and lickety learnt this the hard way!
I love baity ponies! Most of my collection are really other people's unwanted baits, I think they deserve love too!
I'm really not picky with ponies at all, they've been loved for 30 years so wear and tear is expected. And I love to imagine the things they've seen, one of my ponies even accidentally visited Bermuda on her way to me! I even carry a baity g2 baby swirly everywhere with me My childhood Whizzer is even a bait, her eyes have no shine, she has cut frizzy hair and is drawn on but she's my favorite pony of all, she's been everywhere with me and I think her haircut is super cute, very Xena like! I like to imagine she is my pretty warrior pegasus lol

I need to get a picture of my Brightglow with her hoof eaten off! And my piggy blossom with her "marbled" penmarks all over her, it's rather pretty!

I dont have a picture - but I have a terribly tatty CP Applejack. She has 1/2 length tail, terrible pink saddle sores, no forelock and other various marks. But my mum found her for me at a charity shop...so I love her

Yeah, I think I put hats on them when I played. I also have Pretty Visions, whose head fell off. After that, she was a magician, who could make her head flow.

Here is my adorable bald French Blossom. I just fell in love with her the moment I laid eyes on her! I have no desire to re-hair her - to me she is perfect the way she is : )

It's very odd, but the thing I fell in love with about her was her texture. She's an "egg shell" matt and she is silky smooth to touch...anyone else love the *texture* of their pony (just seen some men in white coats coming up my path...)
