Does anyone else think that's a horrible name?

I like it. But MLP has had some questionable names, like Tink-a-tink-a-too,  Soaky Dokey, and Fluffaluff

LOL Soaky Doaky, I need to look this pony up.

I'm aware of the term crowning glory but for some reason just as a name I literally cannot imagine anything but a mother with the baby about to pop out.  :lookround:

Weird. One wonders how she was packaged?

She came with the Crystal Rainbow Castle and I don't think you could see the ponies from outside the box. It was just covered with pictures. Deceptive!

LOL or Fun Fairy. I love Crowning Glory. There are so many worse names! Brights Brightly should've just been Brightly...

Yep, agreed. Brights Brightly just sounds redundant.

"Crowning glory" means "the greatest or most beautiful thing" or "the most impressive part of something."  e.g. "The ballroom is the crowning glory of the palace."

I love her name. She's the queen of my G3 herd!

Yes, this. When I saw the thread title I thought everyone was going to be talking about the most beloved pony in their collection. Whoops.

While I did assume that this post was about the pony, I can see why you might think this. Makes perfect sense to me! ^.^ Also, because I also know what this term means, I always thought it was a really clever play on words being that her symbol features a crown. Now if it didn't have a crown, then it would be a weird name.  Just my two pence worth. ;)

As to the OP's complaint, I agree that her symbol definitely should be on the other side. I never noticed before but now that you've pointed it out (thanks a lot, lol!!) I will forever be annoyed when I look at my own pony.  >_<

I'm still amazed on a  daily basis as to what seems to be popular or otherwise with serious collectors...

I'm so sorry!! haha I didn't even notice myself until I saw her in real life and I thought the one I bought had a warped body. When I looked at photos of her online, I noticed they all looked like that. I've turned her head just slightly so she doesn't look too awkward. Then I gave her one of my extra crowns. XD

TBH, I wouldn't have been surprised if she hadn't had a crown symbol! Hasbro loves to stamp random symbols on ponies with totally unrelated names. Whistle Wishes has stars and clouds for a symbol.. Pearly Pie has flowers... ??? Hasbro, what were you thinking?
