I do and I don't. I count them as cute colorful ponies that mingle freely with my mlps but I count them as their own brand, the way I would with my non big brand model horses, like the dollar store ones and the Kid Connection.

They are kind of part of their own "herd within a herd"  if that makes sense.  They are not exactly part of the MLP herd, but they still sort of count as part of my pony collection, so I kind of consider them their own herd that is kind of part of my MLP herd, if that makes sense.

I do not count fakies as a part of my herd. (I only have had one fakie throughout my entire time collecting/childhood.)

I'd say they are part of your collection, but not your MLP herd. I think of them more like fan art...

My childhood fakies are part of my heard, but I don't count them into my mlp total. The rest of the fakies are supposed to be donated away and they're stored away.

I used to consider fakies part of my herd, but lately having them around has been causing me stress (not sure why) so I gave most of them away and am hoping that someone else is actually enjoying them. The proper MLPs don't cause me this issue for some reason (except for one G2 that I'm trying to rehome.) I have kept a G3-style unicorn, though; he's going to be made into a custom of one of my characters, so he'll be part of my herd when he's finished.

I don't count them when I am counting my collection, no. But my collection would have quite a few numbers added because I collect two fakie lines - Bratz baby Ponyz and CPK Magic Meadow Ponies. I have a hard time considering MM ponies fakies cuz they are made by Hasbro too....

They're mostly stored separately, but just for space reasons, because all my fakies look as much like the real thing as possible. I think I have ten fakie fashion styles to two or three real ones, for example, though they do all live together.

I only have an accidental handful and no I dont count them as part of my collection :) Collection is MLP only I am afraid.

:blush:  My MLP are my "Collection" but my fakies are still an offshoot of my Herd. There is only one fakie in my ChildHerd and it's a Cabbage Patch Pony.  :P  My fakies and phonies are more of small Hoards than a Collection, per se...

I may have something of a problem...  ^^;
